DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Dreams Come True 5K presented by the Jacksonville Association of Health Underwriters (JAHU). Formerly known as the Running for Dreams 5K. \nCome out and run\, walk or roll along the scenic San Marco neighborhoods as we raise money for the dreams of local children battling life-threatening illnesses. \nRegistration: \nDCT 5K – $25 (until April 15\, 2017); $35 (April 16 – Race Day)\n1 Mile Fun Run – $5.00 \nAll participants in the DCT 5K will receive a shirt\, bag and medal. \nOnline registration closes on Thursday\, May 18th\, but day of registration at the event site will be available. \nREGISTER TO RUN\, WALK OR ROLL AT: http://1stplacesports.com/races/dreams/ \nCAN’T PARTICIPANT ON MAY 20TH\, BUT WANT TO HELP!\nJoin our Fundraising Team! \nIf you are not able to participate in the run\, but would like to help with our $25\,000 fundraising goal\, please visit our fundraising site at http://bit.ly/DCT5KFundraising2017 to learn how you can donate or start a fundraising page in honor of the Dreams Come True 5K. \nIn 2016\, we fulfilled the dreams of more than 180 local children and families\, and we are forecasted to exceed that number in 2017. \nYou support of the Dreams Come True 5K will be vital in helping us ensuring that no eligible child is denied a dream or placed on a waiting list. \nThrough our Dreams Come True 5K fundraising site you can form your own fundraising page\, or get together with friends and co-workers and start a team page. 100% of your donations will go directly to Dreams Come True and support the programs and services of your local dream-granting organization. \nAs part of the event\, several of our dreamers and their families will be on site to help encourage our participants\, and some will even face the course themselves.
