Summer Camp for Middle Schoolers
Fish Camp – New Summer Camp! St. Johns County Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Florida Wildlife Commission to offer a fresh water fish camp for middle school students (must have completed 6th grade to be eligible). Campers will learn safe boat handling skills, types of fresh water fish and their habitat, the proper tackle to use in fresh water, and how to properly clean fish. Camp runs from July 24 -28, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Trout Creek, 6795 Collier Rd. off SR 13. The program is limited to 20 campers and registration is first come first serve.
